The Kink Dictionary

We have put together some of the most common terms used in BDSM to help those that may be unsure of what a certain term means, or for those who are just interested in expanding their knowledge of the language that can be used within the BDSM community.

Just because you may not have heard of all of these terms or you don’t practice them personally or find some of them a turn off, does not mean that you are not ‘into’ BDSM. The practice of BDSM can come in many forms and is completely dependant on individual preferences. Not everybody who is actively involved within the BDSM lifestyle practices everything detailed within this glossary.

Because this is such as extensive glossary, we have separated the terms alphabetically. If there is something you are looking for and you can’t find it here then let us know by leaving a comment; we will find it and add it in!

W/we have been informed that ‘figging’ was not included in the original glossary, so this has now been updated! Thank you!
